Clint L. Frey, CLU, ChFC
With more than 25 years insurance experience
Clint holds designations of Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered
Financial Consultant and is a NASD registered securities representative.
He is a Life Member of the prestigious Million Dollar Roundtable,
a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, and the
Birmingham Estate Planning Council. Clint has served on the Advisory
Board of Birmingham, Alabama accounting firm Warren, Averritt, Kimbrough
& Marino PC. Clint is a graduate of Samford University with degrees
in Physics and Mathematics and sits on the Samford University Planned
Giving Advisory Board. He is a member of National and Alabama Association
of Life Underwriters. He is a member of Rotary of Cullman and in 1999
was chosen Small Business Person of the Year by the Cullman Area Chamber
of Commerce for excellence in Small Business and community activity.
Sonya K. Hembree, RHU
has more than 10 years of experience in employee
benefits and group insurance. She holds the Registered Health Underwriter
designation from The American College and is a member of the National
and Birmingham Health Underwriters Associations. Sonya is currently
completing requirements for certification as a Registered Employee
Benefits Consultant. She previously served as a legal assistant and
trial paralegal primarily involved in insurance defense for a prominent
Birmingham, Alabama insurance defense law firm. Sonya currently serves
as a Vice President on the Board of Directors of Cullman Area Chamber
of Commerce where she is also active and has chaired the Member Services
and Existing Business and Industry Committees. She is officer for
the Business and Professional Women's (BPW)/Cullman and is a Charter
Member of Kiwanis Cullman Morning Club. Sonya has served as a Victim's
Advocate for the Center for Domestic Violence of Cullman and is a
former member of the Cullman County District Court Domestic Violence
Task Force.
Michael T. Newman
has more than 15 years of experience
designing, implementing and communicating employee benefit plans.
After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources from The University
of Alabama he served as Director of Human Resources for two large
employers before joining Aetna's Employee Benefits division for
eight years as Senior Account Representative for Alabama and West
Florida. In 1995 Mike became the Director of Sales and Marketing
for Foundation Health in Alabama and assisted in the plan's successful
Alabama licensing application. He later served as Foundation Health's
Executive Director in Alabama until it was sold in 1997. Mike is
past Vice President of Birmingham Association of Health Underwriters,
a member of National Association of Health Underwriters and a member
of the Sunrise Rotary Club. Mike is currently completing requirements
for the designation of Certified Employee Benefits Specialist.
